DPP Lillian Shawa-Siyuni’s request to have President Hakainde Hichilema to waive her oath of secrecy in order to defend herself on some of the allegations made against her has been rejected.
The DPP made the request to ensure that she speaks out without breaking the Oath.
In response to the request, Attorney General Mulilo Kabesha said the waiver had not been granted.
The AG also directed that the Judicial Complaints Commission to proceed with their investigations of the Complaints against the DPP.
