Ensure the country attains the required international safety and security assurances in the aviation sector, Transport and Logistics Minister Frank Tayali has urged the newly appointed Civil Aviation Authority Board of Directors.
Mr Tayali said government has chosen a strategic direction of making the country a regional transport and logistics hub.
He said this at the official unveiling of the newly appointed six-member board of directors in Lusaka today.
Meanwhile, the new Civil Aviation Authority Board of Directors Chairperson Patrick Nkhoma said the Authority will support government’s call for the country to witness economic transformation through the aviation sector.
