Plans are under way to recapitalise the Mala shoe factory in Ndola and train staff in modern technology.
According to Zambia Daily Mail, Zambia National Service (ZNS) deputy commander Reuben Mwewa says the factory has potential to produce quality military footwear for the defence forces if it is refurbished and fitted with modern technology.
