The 2022 400 meters’ commonwealth champion Muzala Samukonga has been nominated for athlete of the year in African Entertainment Awards United States of America (AEAUSA).
Samukonga won a gold medal at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth games, with a time of 44.66 seconds.
Some notable names alongside Samukonga are Muhamad Salah of Egypt and Liverpool football club, Sadio Mane of Senegal and FC Bayern Munich and Eliud Kipchoge kanya’s marathon runner. This is contained in a report published by Zed Sport.
