SIOMA District Commissioner Edmond Mumbula has been ordered to pay K25,000 in compensation for adultery after a video showing him having s*x with a married woman was presented in Livingstone Local Court by the plaintiff as evidence.
Patrick Mwiimbi, 59, who works for National Prosecution Authority and is based in Namwala, sued Mumbula, 68, for committing adultery with his wife, Harriet Mayambu, and demanded K300,000 as compensation.
Mwiimbi, of house number 26, Livingstone Police Camp, said the s*x video was sent to him by his children after they discovered it on their mother’s phone.
Mwiimbi also presented in court as evidence an audio in which Mumbula admitted having been in a s*xual affair with Mayambu. In the audio, Mumbula also promised to compensate Mwiimbi for committing adultery with his wife. This is contained in a report published by Zambia Daily Mail.
