Shepolopolo Coach BRUCE MWAPE says last night’s friendly game against Morocco was an eye opener for the team to work on areas that needs attention before the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament kicks off.
MWAPE says the team played well but made mistakes especially with loose passes on the right wing in the first and second half of the encounter.
Speaking in a post match interview, MWAPE noted that one area that needs to be consolidated is the striking force as players deployed where slow.
MWAPE however expressed optimism that with the availability of strikers like OCHUMBA OSEKE and XIOMARA MAPEPA the team will perform better in the coming friendly games.
And Head of Mission ELIPHAS CHINYONGA said the result was a big booster as Morocco is a good side who pride in playing good football.
