TWO children, both aged 10, have died in Simaubi, Mbabala in Choma after being struck by lightning as they were playing outside their house on Tuesday afternoon.
The two children from the same family were playing in the rains when they met their fate.
Simaubi councillor Audrine Siluchali and Mbabala Member of Parliament Joseph Munsanje confirmed the incident in separate interviews.
Mr Siluchali said the two Grade 1 children at Simaubi Primary School were playing with six others and were only discovered dead outside the house by their guardian. This is contained in a report published by Zambia Daily Mail.
