A Medical doctor has told the Choma Magistrate Court that the four-year-old girl who was allegedly def!led was not found with any bruises or injuries after a general examination.
This is a matter in which 22-year-old Kelvin Milandu, a student from St Mawaggali Trades Training Institute stands charged with defilement contrary to the Laws of Zambia.
During continuation of trial, a Doctor from the Choma General Hospital testified that she found signs of injuries on the gen!tal area of the victim specifically on the l@bia m!nora.
She further told the court that the victim complained of pain around the gen!tal area but the findings were not consistent with the def!lement because the hym£n was intact as it did not show signs of injuries or trauma.
And after the close of trial from the state witness, Magistrate Ethel Phiri adjourned the matter to 16th June, 2023.
