… It was found without the body

Muchinga police post of Matero has today September 22, 2023 at 08:30 hours received a report of a found head of a baby in which female Beatrice Kasaka aged 32 of house number 3741 Chingwere Matero reported that she found a head of a baby in her rubbish pit as she was about to throw rubbish in the same pit.
This occurred today around 08:00 hours.
Brief facts of the matter are that today September 22, 2023 at around 08:00 hours, the reporter went to throw rubbish in the pit where she found a head of a baby without the body.
The scene was visited by Police Scene of Crime officers and found the head of a baby.
It was later taken to Chingwere Cemetery where it has since been buried and the site marked awaiting identification and postmortem.
The head of the baby is strongly believed to have been exhumed by dogs from the shallow graves that are used to bury the fetus at Chingwere grave site.
