The Department of Immigration has deported a 55-year-old Turkish residence permit holder, Taciddin Sahutoglu, for séxually abusing his female employees.

Immigration public relations officer Namati Nshinka says the suspect was deported on June 14, 2024, following the conclusion of investigations into the reports.

He says Sahutoglu, a director and shareholder at Deniz Blocks and Pavers Factory in Lusaka, had a habit of abusing his female employees.

And Investigations also revealed significant breaches of labor laws, including non-adherence to the minimum wage by the company.

Nshinka has revealed that the Department revoked his residence permit before effecting his deportation under a warrant signed by the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security.

He has assured zambians that the Department will not hesitate to revoke such employers’ permits and recommend their deportation.
