I married at 40 and one of the reasons is that I hadn’t found the right one, discloses musician James Sakala.
Featuring on Diamond TV’s “On The Table,” Sakala said the other reason is that he felt he was not ready financially.
“I needed maybe to have my own house, like buy a house, like put all those things together,” he said.
He however disclosed that he met a man who gave him a different view on marriage.
“But, like they say, God’s plans are not your plans. There is an elderly man that I had a chat with who said something to me that really made sense. He said when you start together with your wife you will respect each other,” he said.
“So, don’t wait until you have millions to marry, you will never respect your wife. And I have seen this happen to a lot of people who are well to do with a lot of problems.”
