Former President Edgar Lungu has called on the electorates in Petauke Central and Pambashe Constituencies to vote for the Tonse Alliance Candidates.

In a post on his Facebook page today, Lungu said “to our good people of Petauke Central and Pambashe Constituencies. I call upon you all to vote for Simon Banda and William Mwenya respectively, tomorrow 6th February 2025, our Tonse Alliance candidates.”

Meanwhile, former Petauke Central Member of Parliament Emmanuel Jay Banda spelt out reasons people should settle for Simon Banda, the Tonse Alliance in tomorrow’s polls.

He said people should not be blinded by the K100s they have been receiving from people who promised to deliver but failed.

The former lawmaker said people should vote for someone who has a heart for residents in Petuake, who will be with them in times of trouble, who will listen to them in times of trouble and who will be willing to use personal resources to sponsor or help families in times of need like school, hunger and funeral.

Meanwhile, Jay Jay said “my heart was always with the people of petauke and still is.”
