By ZR Reporter

Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa says the government has succeeded in making the economy move from bad to worse.

The Lawmaker added that the economy has moved from a flying pan into a burning fire.

He charged that after scandalizing and kǐlling the private sector, government went to collect the new lõw quality “gong’a (fak£)” curréncy printed at exorbitant millõns of døllars.

“That money wasted in the new currency could have been used to revamp NHIMA. The new currency was not a priority and life threatening. It could have waited,” he said.

With the launching of a K500 banknote, the Parliamentarian expressed his worries of people having headaches of “kulibe change.”

“The first ever K500 one note effect will be to increase the inflation rate and increase price of goods and services,” he shared on his Facebook page today.

“Then headaches of ‘Kulibe change’ (No change). Before long they go back and print a K1000 note. MusokotwaneNomic not worked last 4 years surely can only get worse into the next 1 year.”
