The Kenyan government has confirmed speaking with a Vietnamese government representative over the matter to secure reprieve for the Kenyan woman who was found guilty of drǔg trafficking and sentenced to death.

Her execution was scheduled for yesterday but has been delayed as the two governments engage in talks.

Kenyans have united to beg the Vietnamese government to pardon Nduta, even though that country’s penalties for drǔg trafficking offenses are very stiff.
