A form one pupil at Lumezi boarding Secondary School has been found dead in the dormitory barely 24 hours after he was spotted playing football with his friends within the school.
Malumbo Nyirenda was discovered dead this morning in his dormitory by a house prefect.
According to sources at the School, the pupil allegedly died in sleep in the dormitory.
The source told Daily Mail that the body of the pupil has since been deposited to Lumezi Mission Hospital for post-mortem.
Eastern Province police commanding officer Robertson Mweemba has also confirmed.
