A witness in the ongoing skeletal remains trial has narrated that a human skeleton believed to be that of Garden Compound resident George Kalaba, was found lying on a bed, half covered with a bedsheet up to the chest.
The witness, Emmanuel Kalaba, who is George Kalaba’s brother, says the bed was neatly made, and the skeleton’s head was facing the door of one of the bedrooms in George’s house.
He has added that he could tell it was a human skeleton because of the visible jaw, ribs, and skull.
The case is being heard by High Court Judge Anne Ononuuju.
In this matter, Silvia Mutaba, George Kalaba’s wife, is facing a charge of manslaughter.
