Republican President Hakainde Hichilema has arrived in Mongu Western Province, for a two-day working visit aimed at advancing key development projects in the region.

‎‎Upon arrival at Mongu Airport, the President was received by Western Province Minister Kapelwa Mbangweta, Permanent Secretary Simomo Akapelwa, Mongu Mayor Nyambe Muyumbana, District Commissioner Morgan Akabeswa, along with other government officials.‎

During his visit, President Hichilema is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on His Majesty Lubosi Imwiko II.

‎‎ He will later meet with party officials at the United Party for National Development (UPND) Secretariat.

‎‎The Head of State is also expected to commission the Mongu Limulunga Road as well as the Hakainde Hichilema Mini Hospital, among other key developmental projects.‎
