IT IS double excitement for her as she not only graduates with a degree in Social Work from the University of Zambia (UNZA) this Friday, but also receives an adoption certificate from the United Party for National Development (UPND) for Mwense Central Constituency in Luapula Province.

26-year-old Susan Mulala says that during her studies at UNZA, she served as vice-president of the Social Work Association.

Susan says she did not see the adoption coming. However, she is deeply humbled and grateful to have been adopted by UPND as its candidate for Member of Parliament for Mwense Central Constituency.

“I sincerely thank President Hakainde Hichilema, the UPND leadership, and most importantly, the people of Mwense for the trust and confidence they have placed in me. This adoption is not just a personal honour, but a collective victory for our constituency,” she says.

She has promised to serve with integrity, unity and dedication, ensuring that Mwense moves forward with development and forward with UPND.
