A thirty-eight year old woman of Livingstone’s Dambwa Site and Service has escaped death after an elephant attacked her around 05:30hrs on Friday, August 18, 2023.
IREEN MUNKOMBWE narrated to ZNBC news that she woke up around 05:00hrs to clean the house but that when she went outside around 05:30hrs to throw away the rubbish, she found an elephant in the garden.
She explains that the elephant charged towards her but that she quickly ran into the house.
