Speaking during the launch of the Volkswagen showroom at CFAO mobility yesterday Hon Tayali said that the government is committed to providing policies that foster innovation, by encouraging investment and ensuring that advancement in mobility remains accessible to all.

He reiterated that the government through his ministry has acknowledged the effort that the visionaries and business leaders who continuously push the boundaries of automotive technology through innovation are putting in order to keep the industry moving forward, thereby transforming the way we think about mobility remains unseen.

He further explained that innovation in acceleration is moving at an unprecedented pace where by the era that is characterized by rapid technology advancement, digital integration and sustainable manufacturing has resulted in consumer expections shifting , briskly, demanding smarter, more efficient, and environmentally friendly vehicles .

He further stated that has government recognizes the crucial role that the automotive sector plays In economic growth, job creation, and sustainable development it is therefore imperative for CFAO to take the lead in sponsoring unskilling programmes for the Zambian workforce.

When we talk about electric vehicles , we must broaden our perspective beyond just cars . Electric mobility includes vans , SUVs , trucks , and even buses.
