President Hakainde Hichilema today received credentials from four newly accredited envoys, reaffirming Zambia’s commitment to fostering strong diplomatic and economic ties with partner nations.
The newly accredited diplomats include His Excellency Mr. Alok Ranjan Jha, High Commissioner of India; His Excellency Gen. Ihar Marshalau, Ambassador of Belarus; His Excellency Mr. Shah Ahmed Shafi, High Commissioner of Bangladesh; and Her Excellency Ms. Emily Burns, High Commissioner of Canada.
In a statement shared on his social media page, President Hichilema emphasized Zambia’s dedication to fostering cooperation across various sectors. He reaffirmed the country’s foreign policy focus on peace, security, and economic diplomacy.
“We are eager to work closely with the newly accredited High Commissioners and Ambassadors to strengthen the bonds between our countries,” he stated.
The President also emphasized that Zambia continues to prioritize strong bilateral and multilateral relations as it seeks to enhance trade, investment, and development opportunities with global partners.
