The surviving victim of the Rubis Filling Station robbery, Mapalo Mwelwa, has been discharged from hospital after a month-long battle with severe head injuries sustained during the July 16, 2025 incident.
Mr.Mwelwa had been admitted in critical condition following the attack that left him fighting for his life.
Levy Mwanawasa Teaching Hospital Public Relations Officer Chizongo Siachiwena has confirmed that Mr.Mwelwa underwent intensive treatment before being declared stable enough to return home.
