Lusaka, Zambia — August 29, 2025.
Kilibet Zambia has officially marked six months of successful operations with a grand launch event at Best Western Plus Hotel in Lusaka, bringing together more than 60 distinguished guests, including representatives from the banking sector, First National Bank (FNB), the telecom services, Airtel Zambia and MTN Zambia, media houses, influencers, and other partners.
Kilibet Zambia CEO, Ivan Djordjevic, highlighted the company’s rapid growth since entering the market six months ago. “In a short time, Kilibet has grown to 7 stores across Lusaka and created jobs for over 55 employees. This milestone shows the trust our players, partners, and regulators have placed in us,” Djordjevic said. “Our mission is not only to lead in betting, but to ensure responsible playing, fair opportunities, and meaningful contributions to Zambian communities.
Speaking at the event, distinguished guests from various organizations commended Kilibet for its investment in Zambia and welcomed it’s commitment to responsible betting and gambling as a way to balance entertainment with player protection and economic impact.
A key part of the program was Kilibet’s CSR initiative with Kings Kangwa Football Academy, where the company donated equipment and resources to support the development of young football talent. “This is just the beginning,” Djordjevic added. “We are committed to future CSR investments in sports, education, and youth empowerment.”
The celebration also marked the announcement of the Highest Odds Competition, a fourweek betting challenge that will reward 50 winners with cash prizes every week and crown three grand prize winners at the end.
Kilibet’s brand ambassadors — Dizmo, Zambia’s celebrated rapper and Emie, one of the country’s most popular comedians expressed pride in representing Kilibet and connecting the brand to the Zambian people.
