16-YEAR-old Gaea Chisenga, a grade 10 pupil of Kabale Secondary School in Mpika District has been found murdèred, with his body discovered in the Lwitikila River.
Muchinga Province Police Commanding Officer Dennis Moola confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as 16-year-old Gaea Chisenga of TAZARA Township.
Police believe he was kílled between Monday around 06:00 hours and Friday around 08:00 hours at Malambwa Bridge along the Mpika-Kasama Road in Chief Chikwanda’s area.
The deceased’s teacher, Sangwa Mwewa has expressed pain on hearing Gaea’s gruesome murdèr saying, “My boy Gaea sure after telling you to stop sitting behind in class then today [you are no] more awe chafina.”
Gaea’s class and former classmates have expressed grief while reminiscing on the history they share.
