Officers from the Department of National Parks and Wildlife (DNPW) in Livingstone have closed the park’s access gates as they protest what they describe as poor conditions of service.
The protesting officers have also posted notices calling for the resignation of Tourism Minister Rodney Sikumba and the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Evans Muhanga.
