Today, I visited our colleagues who remain incarcerated, and my heart is heavy. Their resilience in the face of adversity is both humbling and inspiring. We are deeply disturbed by the continued reluctance to grant bail to individuals who clearly have bright prospects of securing it. Justice must never be selective.
Our visit was not just a courtesy but a mark of solidarity, a reminder that they are not alone, and that their struggle is our collective struggle. Even in these trying moments, their spirit remains unbroken, and so must ours.
Let us continue to stand together, speak truth to power, and believe that light will prevail over the darkness of injustice. Their hope is stronger than any walls that confine them.
