Chipata-based peace advocate Morgan Banda was seen engaging in running activities along several routes in Lusaka this morning.
In an interview, Mr. Banda said that as he awaits an opportunity to meet President Hakainde Hichilema, he will continue with his daily routine of running around Lusaka while spreading messages of peace and unity.
Mr. Banda, who walked from Chipata to Lusaka between 16th and 25th December 2025 in an effort to promote peace and unity ahead of 2026 General Elections, stated that his desire is to meet President Hakainde Hichilema before returning home.
He has also encouraged youths and the general public to take sports activities seriously, noting that they promote good health and can also serve as a source of income.
