The opposition Patriotic Front has boasted that the party is still attractive despite losing elections last year.
Speaking to the media in Lusaka today, PF Chairperson for Information and Publicity Raphael Nakacinda said the money for the general conference will be found the moment the dates are announced.
“Asked how much the party has raised, Mr Nakacinda said “in terms of how much money we are raising is not a matter that we can discuss today. But we will be able to give the Zambian people when we have undertaken that exercise in terms of where we will be in terms of readiness financially for the general conference.”
And Mr Nakacinda assured those that will attend the conference that there will be “heavy breakfast.”
“But for now the priority is to take stock of our structures. The money….PF is still attractive. The money will be found. The moment we announce the dates for the general conference the money will be found. I can only possibly give you a tip that each one of you that will attend the general conference, you are guaranteed of at least very good breakfast.
Because there was already a pledge of two eggs for each delegate and for each stakeholder that will attend, plus bread. But you can only imagine what will be for lunch and dinner and the rest of the matter will be able to be resolved. That’s just to give you an indication on how we are planning.
