Copper Queens achievements should unite us more-Gideon Mwenya

It is so disheartening that instead of the achievements our women National Soccer Team uniting us in the football family ,some of our colleagues have taken turns at further causing divisions .

We have for sometime observed the growing trend in which people in our football family are classed in groups or rather camps depending on what one says at a particular time or who they are seen with .

We are of the hope that the recent achievements of the our copper Queens should have united us since we all advocating for development of football in Zambia .

To the contrary people have taken turns taunting and pocking each other with titles that have now been coined as Aggrieved party and praise singers .

People have right to associate and express themselves on any maters regarding our football and what one says or who they associate with should never be a source of name calling because we are all in this to see that our football develops .

If this is not put to a stop , our football will be going back and fourth and it will remain stagnant.

We need to do away with this name calling and taunting each other but instead we must learn to respect each other others opinions .

Football unlike politics is a unifier and has proven world over to unify people from different backgrounds .

One more congratulations to the copper Queens for the milestone scored of qualifying to the World Cup , we shall continue to celebrate you .
