Bizwell Mutale has resigned from the opposition Patriotic Front (PF) with immediate effect.
In a letter dated 25th May, 2022, Mr Mutale said he left the reasons unmentioned because he believed the party already knew what led to his resignation.
The letter is addressed to PF Deputy Secretary General Nixon Chilangwa and party vice president Given Lubinda.
Prior to his resignation, Mr Mutale expressed his ambition strongly of wanting to be party president.
“This letter serves to inform you that, as of today 25th May 2022, I am tendering my letter of resignation as the Patriotic Front Party Members. I’ believe the reasons leading to this decision I have made, are known by you and I will therefore leave them unsaid at this time. As I had enjoyed working with you in the past three years, I can no longer Pretend that all is well in Patriotic Front Party as we stand,” read the letter.
“I am therefore tendering my resignation letter, and this letter, is for with immediate effect. I would like to thank you for the experience of having worked with Patriotic Front Party and all the outstanding amazing People I have met and worked with during this Period, God Bless You all.”
