On 3rd September 2022, the Diocese of Monze cerebrates its 60th anniversary since its erection in 1962. Two important benchmarks for this celebration are: the Episcopal Ordination that took place on 7th May 2022 of Rt. Rev. Raphael Mweempwa as the 5th Bishop of the Diocese.
The second is the completion of the New Cathedral of the Holy Trinity which will be blessed on 3rd September 2022.
