Kanchibiya District, 2nd September 2022 – Through Kanchibiya area member of Parliament’s office, Kanchibiya District Farmers Association has started process of Registration leading up to the affiliation to Zambia National Farmers Union.
The objective of the association is to push agriculture development agenda and lobby for goverment interventions whilst ensuring farmers interests are protected in Kanchibiya District.
Our vision, anchored on the entire agriculture value chain is to transform Kanchibiya into a food-basket and agricultural production powerhouse in Muchinga Province and the country at large.
This initiative was started by our area MP Hon Sunday Chanda to bring Kanchibiya as a District up to speed on matters to do with farming.
We urge Farmers to register for membership through our MP’s office which is serving as our interim secretariat for the time being.
