CONGRATULATIONS KENYA
I once again heartily congratulate the people of Kenya, the Judiciary and my Brother, President elect of the Republic of Kenya William Ruto.
Your victory is celebrated as an African victory as it amounts to the protection of African countries sovereignty in its entirety. I believe that elections must always be determined by the sovereign will of the people themselves. The Kenyan Judiciary has demonstrated that it is possible to do so and to respect the will of the people.
The time to forge ahead in peace and to unite the people of Kenya is now. I understand the tension that arises when an election is challenged and upholding peace during such a delicate period can be a daunting task. We congratulate the people of Kenya.
Just like Zambia, Kenya has emerged as a shining light in upholding peace, democratic tenets, including the smooth transfer of power. Congratulations once again to the people of Kenya and my Brother, William Samoei Ruto.
