Kafue Celtic has signed a historic partnership with Georgian side Locomotive Tbilisi that will see the two clubs collaborate on various developmental fronts.

Club Director Lee Kawanu recently visited Georgia to tour the facilities of Locomotive Tbilisi in order to create further player pathways for our talented athletes.

The two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on September 6, 2022 that will run up to December 31, 2025.

The MOU will see six talented Celtic players invited for trials every year while a yearly exchange program has also been put in place to further the development of our coaches. The coaches development will cover both technical and tactical aspects.

Lastly the MOU will see one KCFC team from the different age groups invited for training camps or tournaments in Georgia.

“We are excited about this new partnership and we look forward to the amazing new opportunities and possibilities that will come from our MOU with FC Locomotive Tbilisi,” said Kawanu.
