CLOSE to 600 teenage pregnancies were recorded in the first half of this year in Chipata.
According to Zambia Daily Mail, acting Chipata district adolescent focal point person (DADH-FPP) Seth Chongo says the district health office captured 596 teenage pregnancies from January to June.
Mr Chongo said 323 teenage pregnancies were recorded in the first quarter of the year and 273 in the second.
“So you are aware that our district has been battling teen pregnancy for a while now.
