President Hakainde Hichilema has boasted that in the one year that he has been in power, he has delivered on his campaign promises.
The President said this as he seemingly made a comparison between his administration’s performance to that of the PF regime.
The Head of State said among the campaign promises made prior the 2021 elections, his administration managed to curb violence and materialized free education.
Speaking when he addressed people at Ukwimi A in Lusangazi District, Eastern province, the President assured the locals that he has heard their cries.
President Hichilema is in Eastern Province for a 2 days working visit.
“We have been in the office for a year now. Our friends were there for 10 years. In one year, we told you we will bring free education and we have done that. We promised to end violence in bus stations and markets, we have done that,” he said.
“We told you to we will increase CDF…We have heard your cries, there is women empowerment, there is youth empowerment. Osabwelelela ku mbuyo, ati dununa reverse. You need to go forward.”
