Rehabilitation works on the road leading to Choma General Hospital are scheduled to be completed before commencement of heavy rains this season.
My Home Town Organization is funding rehabilitation of the road, with works starting mid-this year at an of cost one million US-Dollars.
And Choma Municipal Council Public Relations Manager, Kameko Manda, says works have continued after stalling for some time, noting that the asphalt layer is currently been done.
Manda tells Byta FM News that much of the works have been completed and the road will soon be commissioned to the public.
Meanwhile, James Muchindu, a motorist from the Central Business District in Choma, has commended My Hometown and the local authority for the rehabilitation works on the hospital road. This is contained in a report published by Byta FM.
