FRED Chulu, alias Mr Lee’s Employee, will spend Christmas and New Year in a correctional facility regretting using insulting language on Facebook after a magistrate jailed him for three months.
On top of the three months jail term, Lusaka magistrate Mutinta Mwenya fined the vlogger, of Hellen Kaunda in Lusaka, K30 after finding him guilty in three counts of use of insulting language.
Between May 12 and 13, 2022, the suspect appeared in three separate videos on Facebook circulated on social media platforms.
He was captured using insulting language and conducting himself in a manner likely to provoke any person as to cause them to break public peace or to commit an offence. This is contained in a report published by Zambia Daily Mail.
