PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says he will engage his Zimbabwean counterpart, Emmerson Mnangagwa, to see to it that water in Kariba Dam is effectively managed for power generation.
Mr Hichilema is seeking harmonised bilateral engagements with Mr Mnangagwa to address the current power generation challenges at the Kariba North Bank power station.
The President said the prevailing energy crisis needs the urgency of the two countries to ensure proper management of Kariba Dam. This is contained in a report published by Zambia Daily Mail.
