Ms. Mwila, 67 died on Friday night at the Cancer Diseases hospital in Lusaka.
Mrs. Mwila also served as the immediate past ZNBC Board Chairperson.
ZNBC Head of Corporate Affairs Anne Mukabe has confirmed the development to ZNBC News.
Ms. Mukabe said Mrs. Mwila served the Corporation with a lot of discipline, and will be remembered for her commitment to the Journalism profession.
She has told ZNBC news in an interview that the Corporation commiserates with the Mwila family, and wished them strength during this time and beyond.
