Just like her name Suggests “Beauty” ,Beauty Katebe was born 24 October 1968 in Chingola.

This is the woman who was at the helm of the Zambia national women`s Lobby an organisation which advocates for the advancement of women. She served for 11years as National Chairperson for the Organization.

In her career Beauty Katebe also served as Labour activist for 6years as National Chair for the Council of Women in the Agricultural, Technical and Professional Union of Zambia.

She is currently a Government worker where she has risen through ranks for the the past 22 years and she will be retiring from the civil service in October, 2023.

From being a typist to Chief Human Resource management officer in government is not a mere achievement, In her spare time, Beauty Katebe works with communities where she is sponsoring football teams for girls and boys in Chongwe District of Lusaka province.

Her community works extends to working with women groups in village banking as an empowerment for local women in rural Shiyala village..

She is a mother, farmer, entrepreneur, activist and a government worker

With the US dollars 30,000 prize money to her title, she will definitely improve her scope of community works in different rural villages in Chongwe, Lusaka.
