47 year old Zambian man who was reported missing in South Africa has been found at Tembisa Hospital in Johannesburg.
Elijah Makina is said to be battling for his life at the said hospital after being hit by a car.
Mwebantu News Media reports that Mr Makina who went missing two days ago was rushed to hospital by some good amaritans following a hit-and-run accident.
Mr Makina’s wife last evening confirmed the development to Zambian High Commission in Pretoria saying her husband remains hospitalised.
She said family members back home and the Zambian community in South Africa have been notified of the latest development.
She has thanked Zambia High Commissioner in Pretoria, Inonge Mwenya, and her staff for the help they rendered by ensuring that the disappearance of her husband was communicated to members of the public without which she says would have been difficult to locate him.
