The 13 girls who were rescued from the abductors last week and underwent medical examinations in Lusaka are said to be in good spirits.
Government has taken over the welfare of the 13 girls and a safe place has been provided for them.
Minister of Community Development and Social Services Doreen Mwamba said Government has taken over the welfare of the survivors of abduction following the completion of their medical examinations.
“The young ladies who are aged between 17 and 28 are in good spirits and currently in the custody of the Department of Social Welfare. This is contained in a report published by Zambia Daily Mail.
