Patriotic Front (PF) National Chairperson for Information and Publicity Raphael Nakacinda has called out the UPND government as a selfish government.
Mr Nakacinda blamed lack of money in circulation on UPND’s selfishness.
He said the New Dawn is focusing on pleasing their friends from the West at the expense of Zambians.
The PF MCC said this when he featured on Chimwemwe Radio in Ndola today.
“The selfishness in UPND starts from the ministers, MPs, councilors. These people are greedy. They are not giving businesses to the people of Zambia, they are giving contracts amongst themselves and their friends,” he said.“
That is why there is no money in circulation. Balikaka shonse indalama, shaba fye kubanabo and the bazungu they are working with. This is why they don’t stay in Zambia. Every day they are on planes going to their white friends.”
Meanwhile, Mr Nakacinda said he cannot apologise for the help party officials rendered to the vulnerable.
“We cannot apologise or feel ashamed of the money we were giving people. The tendency we had in PF is that even if you hadn’t enough money, you were supposed to share with those in need. That is why you find that former president Edgar Lungu’s legacy is centred on the help he rendered to the people in the church and the needy. He helped the elderly through social cash transfer” he said.
“Not long ago officials from the IMF came. They said they noticed that social cash transfer in Zambia was too big. Social Cash Transfer started during the PF reign. Philosophy yaba UPND yabutani. You heard what the President said about ka something. Even in a family, it is not normal for those who are doing well to not help those that are struggling.”
Mr Nakacinda wondered if the UPND expects PF to clap for them for trying to stop them from donating money to Zambians.
“In PF, that is how we used to work if you see an MP, wakwata kwakupusukilako, he can’t even all the problems but at least what small monies they have in their pockets they are able to share. So are you telling us we should be clapping for the UPND for saying that we should stop giving in church because of their selfishness,” he wondered.
