Government has released over 4.7-Billion kwacha under the Constituency Development Fund -CDF.
Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development permanent Secretary MAAMBO HAAMUNDU says the disbursement has been conducted on a quarterly basis.
He says this means that each constituency has received over 28 Million Kwacha which was allocated for in this year’s National Budget.
Mr. HAAMUNDU says following Government’s disbursement of all the funds under CDF, no local authority, Parliamentarian or CDF Committee has an excuse not to execute projects meant to improve the lives of the communities.
