Sports Minister ELVIS NKANDU has advised Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- Presidential candidates and stakeholders to ensure that the elections are held smoothly as guided by the World Football Governing body FIFA.
NKANDU says there is need to have leadership that will unite the football fraternity, and the elections offer a platform for transparency.
He has also advised football councillors to choose a leader that will bring value to football, as the sport is known to be a unifier among Zambians.
NKANDU says government will not interfere with the process, but will closely observe to ensure that the elections are free and fair.
