STATE House has released a report showing that the UPND led administration has achieved more than 90 percent of the promises it made to the Zambian people.
According to specialists assistant to the President for Policy Compliance Joseph Lungu, the report shows what government has done starting from 2021 to 2024.
In a video circulating on social media, Lungu said the soft copy of the publication will be made available soon through the Ministry of Information and Media while the hard copy is readily available.
“This is our publication, what’s contained in here is basically the status of our promises, where we are, what we have achieved against what we promised the people.”
“According to our analysis, our research, we have discovered that we have done 90 plus percent of what we promised. 90 plus percent of what we promised has been achieved so everything is in here,” he said.
Meanwhile, President Hakainde Hichilema’s Finance and Investments advisor Jito Kayumba stated that there were so many negative stories on what the UPND had not done and now was the time for the nation to know what has been done so far.
“Don’t be misled by those who want to make you feel like nothing is being done. You have to be aware of what the President is doing. Moving into the future, moving forward, more will be done, more will be seen and more will be felt moving into the future,” said Kayumba.
He added citizens also needed to engage their councilors and Members of Parliament about the importance of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) which he said was a game changer.
