‎We are proud to share that third-year Journalism and Media Studies student Misheck Mfune has been selected for an international reporting assignment in Ghana, becoming the second ICU student to benefit from this unique learning opportunity.

‎Misheck follows in the footsteps of Mirriam Gamaani, who last year travelled to South Africa on an international reporting assignment, making this yet another milestone in our commitment to providing students with real-world media experience.

‎While in Ghana, Misheck will cover the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Summit and undertake other reporting assignments, gaining invaluable exposure to international journalism and professional media practice.

‎This is another example of how ICU is creating opportunities for students to learn beyond the classroom and develop the hands-on skills needed to excel in today’s media industry.

‎Beyond the Classroom, making real-world learning a reality.
