Seven people who were killed in a brutal attack involving murder, aggravated robbery and arson in Kamboyi Village of Imenda Area in Lukulu District, Western Province, are being put to rest today.
The attack occurred in the early hours of June 6, 2026, when suspected criminals armed with offensive weapons allegedly set five houses ablaze.
Six people died in the inferno, while a one-year-five-month-old infant was allegedly killed with a hammer.
Several other victims sustained injuries during the attack, which also saw the theft of 43 cattle valued at more than K370,000.
