“The most important thing is making customers feel comfortable. Whether they want to chat, listen to music or simply enjoy a quiet ride, I want every trip to be memorable because great customer service makes all the difference.”
While partner drivers are helping customers reach the action, Yango Food partner couriers are helping bring the matchday experience home.
As more football fans choose to watch games from the comfort of their homes, Yango Food has seen increased demand for food deliveries during match periods. Instead of leaving home and potentially missing kick-off, customers are increasingly relying on Yango Food to have meals delivered quickly so they can stay focused on the game.
Yango Food partner courier Mike Sibanene says many of the deliveries he has completed during the tournament have been food orders, with customers preferring to stay home while enjoying the football.
“I’ve noticed that most of the orders have been food deliveries because people don’t want to leave home during the matches,” he says. “When opportunities like this come, you put in your best because customers are depending on you.”
To keep up with the increased demand, Mike has also collaborated with other delivery partners, ensuring more customers receive their meals on time while creating opportunities for others to earn through the platform.
